Hibiscus Seed

I've been trying to cross pollinate hibiscus flowers. This is the seed pod from one of the experiments.

The seed pod ripens and disperses the seed. Caught it just before they all fall away.

Like clockwork, the paradise fly catcher visits the garden twice a year- April-May and October-November. This has been happening for the last four years. It has come this year too. Hopefully will catch a glimpse of the charming male bird someday.

A banana Leaf Roller

Banana Skipper, Erionota Thrax rolls a banana leaf by simultaneously spinning and stitching it. I trimmed the leaf from the plant to discard it. I unrolled the leaf to check on the caterpillar and it vigorously restitched it.
